Pitso Mosimane is set to take over as the head coach of South Africa, replacing Belgian manager Hugo Broos, the national football association announced on Saturday. While the national executive committee has officially approved Mosimane for the position, the association confirmed that final salary negotiations are still ongoing.
Association president Danny Jordaan stated, “The executive has approved the appointment of coach Pitso, but we need to tie up some loose ends. We will make a formal announcement next week.”
