Following the Phillies’ elimination, Acuna punctuated the Braves’ win with his signature “night night” gesture directed toward the home crowd. According to in his reply, Ronald Acuna Jr., He loves playing in Philadelphia, adding that the fans booing only motivates him. This latest playoff match gave Acuna another chance to take a playful shot at the Phillies.
Beyond the field, Laborde recently shared insights into the couple’s relationship history during a conversation with Andreia Albies. She explained that their connection began with a digital introduction, though she initially insisted on keeping things casual while she focused on professional projects. The pair struggled to align their schedules, as their waking hours were largely offset due to Acuna’s late-night habits and her early morning routine. This changed significantly when an injury left Laborde housebound for two months, providing the time needed for their relationship to evolve.
Their connection transitioned into an official relationship after Acuna invited her to attend the 2019 playoffs. Although she was initially hesitant about the prospect, she accepted, and the two met in person that October. Acuna later formalized the relationship during a trip to St. Louis, and the couple eventually married on August 31, 2023.
