West Ham United have dismissed head coach Nuno Espirito Santo following a challenging start to their Championship campaign. The 52-year-old Portuguese manager previously oversaw the club’s relegation from the Premier League last season, a tenure that has now come to an abrupt end.
The club is currently in advanced negotiations with former Fulham, Bournemouth, and Burnley boss Scott Parker. If appointed, Parker would become West Ham’s fourth permanent manager since May 2024. He could be officially confirmed in the role before the team’s upcoming Championship fixture away at Cardiff City on Wednesday.
Parker, a former England midfielder, spent four seasons as a player at West Ham. As a manager, he brings significant experience to the position, having previously led both Bournemouth and Burnley to promotion from the Championship.
