In the clip, Parker expressed disbelief when the Fever’s Caitlin Clark turned the ball over after failing to get past Aces star A’ja Wilson, setting up Chelsea Gray’s clutch buzzer-beating three-pointer to seal the Las Vegas victory.
Viewers quickly flooded social media to troll Parker, accusing her of bias and pushing a “Fever agenda.” Many fans targeted her past connection to the Aces, where she played her final years and won her third championship in 2023. Critics online blasted her commentary, with one notable sentiment claiming, “She’s Always Been Sneak Dissing A’ja Wilson.”
The broadcast also drew attention during the third quarter with 4:38 remaining on the clock, when a sideline fan was escorted out of the arena due to comments they made. Parker, who was on the call, remarked that she enjoyed the incident. However, the Fever organization later clarified that the fan had not actually violated any arena code of conduct.
Following the dramatic overtime defeat, the Fever are scheduled to travel on Saturday to face the Chicago Sky at the United Center.
