During the exchange, Carragher asked, “Can we do a podcast without mentioning Rashford?” He further expressed his fatigue regarding the recurring topics, stating, “Stop it. Oh my God. It’s like the Trent and Rashford… like a little part of the podcast.” In response to the clip on social media, Rashford wrote that it would be beneficial to simply keep his head down and focus on his performance without the daily scrutiny.
The forward appears poised to remain at Old Trafford this season following a loan spell at Barcelona, where he successfully secured a La Liga title. Although his last competitive appearance for United occurred in December 2024 under former manager Ruben Amorim, he is currently in contention to feature in the club’s upcoming Premier League opening match against Hull this Saturday.
